Scott has been an integral part of the Blazer Education Foundation, serving on the board since 2012. Over the years, he has held various leadership roles, including Treasurer and Vice President, before stepping into his current position as President. Scott is an alumnus of the Daniel Boone Area School District and continues to contribute to his alma mater through his role as the Director of Technology in the district administration. His dedication to education and the community is also reflected in his family life, as he resides with his wife, Sarah, who is an elementary school principal.
